ANU Main Meeting

ANU FOCUS has a main meeting each week on Thursdays from 1-2pm. This is a public meeting open to all. This term we are meeting in the Hayden Allen Tank.

Hope you all had a great time over the break with not too much study and not too much sleep deprivation! A big welcome to you especially if ur new to anu this semester or just finding out about focus for the first time.

FOCUS Q & A Nights This Week!

There are thousands of students on our campus who don't Jesus and all of us would have friends whom we want to understand the truth about Jesus.

This week FOCUS will be hosting two Q & A nights to give people an opportunity to air their thoughts, questions, and problems with Christianity in a nonthreatening environment and get responses from a panel of experts (details below).

The events will be: Wed 28th, 7.30pm, B&G common room Thurs 29th 7.30pm, HA Tank

Welcome to FOCUS 2010

Hi all,

Hope you all a had a great break and are all psyched for another year of FOCUS (oh and uni... i guess...)

A big welcome to you if you're new to FOCUS! it is our prayer that you will find in FOCUS a welcoming community where you can be encouraged in you faith and grow in your understanding of God as we seek to see Christ's name glorified on our campus.

After a very successful o-week we have around 70 new signups, praise God and abig thankyou to all who helped out.

So whether you're fresh meet or... three year old meat...? hmmm, anyway get excited coz we've got a whole bunch of stuff happening in the coming weeks!

THIS WEEK:

Tuesday night: GUYS pizza, pool, ping-pong and playstaion... what more could u ask for? Good company? OK that too.

Come along to our 2010 Muster!

When: 12 February; 9:30am-4:00pm.

Where: Westminster Presbyterian Church. Corner of Templeton Street and Rowan Street Cook.

BYO lunch or grab a bite at the IGA across the road.No charge for the day.

Be excited and pumped for the year ahead as we reach our campus for Christ.

NTE is going to be awesome. So if you have not registered and have time in the evenings make sure you try and make it along to the evening sessions on Saturday the 5th to Tuesday the 8th. The session will start at 7:30pm and the talks will be given by Andrew Reid. Hope to see you there!
