UC FOCUS

NTE is going to be awesome. So if you have not registered and have time in the evenings make sure you try and make it along to the evening sessions on Saturday the 5th to Tuesday the 8th. The session will start at 7:30pm and the talks will be given by Andrew Reid. Hope to see you there!

This Wednesday after FOCUS at 1:45pm,(for about 1/2 hour) we will be having a workshop to think about International student ministry at UC.

What does International ministry look like at UC, why should we do International ministry, what are some of the challenges of this ministry, how can i get involved?

These are some of the questions we will be chatting about on wed.

Hey FOCUS guys,

The time has come for another Lab, which means: more fun, more fellowship, more of God's word, more testimonies and more good times with your brothers in Christ at FOCUS.

In addition to all these good things, there are two major differences between this one and the last couple 1. We're going to a driving range!

Just a quick reminder to all UC focusites that our Annual General Meeting will be held this coming Wednesday straight after FOCUS:

Wednesday 7th October 2009, 6B45, 1:30pm

Please priortise to attend this meeting as we will be electing our new committee for 2010.

Bible Studies will be starting up this week (week 11)! If you are keen to get into the Bible during the week come along and join us for a Bible Study. We will be studying 1 Thessalonians.

There are two Bible Studies running this term:

• Wednesday 10am - in the Refec (Contact Jonty)
• Thursday 11:30am - in the Refec (Contact Ace)

On Thursday the 24th September (week 10) from 11am - 2pm, iFOCUS will be having a stall on the concourse at UC. We will be seeking to meet International students and invite them along to iFOCUS. We will be handing out free MiGorang noodles and Owen C will be giving a short talk. Please come along, and give us a hand at any time during the day!
